VoltSport Ltd, based in the UK, specialises in the design and integration of electric drive systems/applications. We are also a trusted distributor of high-quality motor controllers, motors, contactors, battery systems, and displays. In other words, we love to design and supply solutions to electrifiy everything we can! The role itself is full time and primarily on-site role based at our Gateshead lab - but we do support flexible working and can work from home as needed. Understandably, with the nature of a technician having the necessary equipment onsite at our wonderful lab rather than at home.

Desirable Qualifications
This is not an exhaustive list, and is a guideline. Whether you got it from a degree, apprenticeship or experience we would love to know if you have:

• Some proficiency in Electronics Technology and practical knowledge of Electrical systems
• Some experience with Soldering and Troubleshooting electronic components
• Interest or skills in Maintenance and Repair of electronic and electric drive system components
• Enjoy problem-solving
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment

We have a small team and would love to have someone who is interested in the key responsibilities include assembling, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment (especially associated with also building the electric projects), with a particular focus on electric drive system components. All training can be provided, you will not be on your own! The technician will be tasked with troubleshooting electrical issues, performing soldering tasks, and ensuring the proper functioning of motors, controllers, and battery systems. Attention to detail, precision, and adherence to quality standards are essential for success in this role.

The salary range is dependent on your current skill set, the range starting from 24k entry level (graduate or just finished relevant apprenticeship, T-Level) up to 35k for 3 years experience. Salary is of course negotiable. We believe in fair and consistent pay and that is why we choose to post the salary.
