Most customers speak to us before purchasing to ensure compatibility with:

  • Load profile: Is the motor driving a constant load, variable load, or shock loads?
  • Duty cycle: Continuous vs intermittent use, peak vs average power demand.

The SU80 is a more capable version of the Albright SW80 Contactor, designed for both interrupted and uninterrupted loads, and is suitable for switching Resistive, Capacitive and Inductive loads. Typical applications include motors as used on electric vehicles and hydraulic power packs. 

The SU80 features single pole double breaking main contacts with silver alloy tips, which are weld resistant, hard wearing and have excellent conductivity.

They can be mounted vertically or horizontally, and when vertical the M8 contact studs should point upwards.
