Use this service if you would like us to clone your previous controller so it can be plugged in to your application/system as a replacement.
Previous controller to be cloned must still be able to be turned on in order to have an exact clone, or an offline DCF file available.
To use this service, you'll need a replacement controller as well, add this to your order as well if you don't already have one.
How does it work?
The controller can create a DCF - Device Configuration File, which we can retrieve and load onto your new controller. In some cases, we may have an offline file - but this entirely depends on whether we were your original supplier or this is a common setup.
Do I need to send the old part as well?
Not necessarily...the first step is, you could, if you have an IXXAT dongle and DVT, retrieve the DCF file yourself which you can send to us. This way you don't also have to send the physical part as well.
I don't have DVT or IXXAT
OK, so you could purchase those, or send the physical part to us and we can clone it at our warehouse.
What do I do when I purchase this service?
When purchasing this service, send an email to sales@voltsport.co.uk, quoting your order reference and then we can arrange cloning your controller as you need it. As always, you can call us for confirmation/advice.
